- About me:
- My Name is Paola Pozzessere. I was born in Grosseto (Tuscany, Italy), in 1975. Actually I live in Grosseto and often I move myself towards Italy (and not only) for my job. My passion for Art was born in my childhood: when somebody asked me: “what job will you do when you are adult?” I used to reply: “A Painter!”. Well, today I'm not properly a painter also because at that time many things I'm working in today didn't exist! I took a Diploma in school o f art in 1993 with full marks. I took a degree certificate in History of Art in Academic Year 1998-99 with full marks and then I took a master certificate in Medieval Archaeology. So I've come back to my older and favourite passion: drawing. With all respect I began studying drawing, painting again. I also attended an animation School becoming a cartoon animator in 2004. At the end of my animation course I attended an animation studio like apprentice. It was an important experience in order to enter into cartoon animation world. At the end of 2005 I took the 'big step' opening my animation studio: Toc Toc. Making this it has been importan for me to coniugate my passion for drawing with my university education. Than nearby traditional cartoon animation works, like 'The Amazing adventures of Nebbia Sissi and Giogio' presented at Cartoons on the Bay 2006, Pitch Me! Section, and on Rai Futura TV, I've been working on Scientific, Naturalistic and Historical Animations for Museums. Moreover I'm working with Schools of my city in order to teach cartoon animation to the students. Besides I'm working like illustrator for some publishing houses. I've collaborated with the Italian Publishing House 'Ancora Libri' (Milan) for the book 'Godersi la gravidanza'. About my extra professional interests: I like reading, travelling,watching good tv and films, singing and swimming. I'd like both developing my actual projects and making new and interesting professional experiences in order to make the most of my flexibility and dynamism.
