Webtel.Mobi Commercial Concept Submitted by: heytherebrynn The Commercial: Starting in a close-up of a man’s face, we slowly begin to pull out, revealing that he is sitting alone in a movie theater, somewhere near the front row, a bucket of popcorn resting in his lap. Behind him the light of the projector shines through the darkness as a film (off camera) plays, casting a elegant blue light on the man. The man is speaking into a cellphone, describing what he’s watching. Cut to a close-up of an elderly Japanese man’s face. The camera begins to pull out, revealing that he is sitting on a couch in his living room. He is listening to the man in the theater on the other line, but keeping the phone far enough away from his face so that the voice on the other end projects loudly enough for his family to hear. His wife is next to him on the couch, smiling as she looks past the camera. As the camera continues to pull back, several toy cars and figurines on the floor come into view. A foot in a dinosaur slipper stomps down on the toys, and as the camera pulls back even further, we see the grandchild of the elderly couple dressed in a home-made monster costume. Everything the kid is doing matches exactly what the man in the theater is relaying on the phone. Sitting in chairs in the living room are other family members. With the small child playfully stomping and roaring around, everyone laughs and cheers as as if watching an actual film. Runtime: 30 - 60 seconds
