Hi everyone!

My name is Mitsuyo Miyazaki. I am one of the Zoopa’s community who’s been making projects here and there.

But today, I have decided to put a post about a passion project that I’ve been working on since 2009.

TSUYAKO” is a short film inspired/based on my grandmother’s life story. It is my graduate thesis project at University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, and I’m aiming this film to be my calling card into the industry. We shot the film in the summer of 2010, since then, we have picture locked, sound edited, and had a scoring session with volunteered crew, cast, musicians and technicians around Japan and Los Angeles. But there are still a few more steps we have to make to finish the film, and I’m reaching out to my friends, and filmmaker communities for their support. To reach our goal and get this film completed, we have launched a Kickstarter campaign. Kickstarter is a great website that aids in the funding of creative ideas and ambitious endeavors.

Please come find out about the film, our journey, and my life story behind the filmmaking career by watching our video at:

You can also support us by spreading the word about TSUYAKO – Simply visit the TSUYAKO Facebook page and press “Like”!

Many thanks in advance for your support. If you know anyone who maybe interested in supporting our film, please forward this email. I very much appreciate your support!

Sending Love and Light,

Mitsuyo Miyazaki
