What is the wiggle room on file sizes? If the Max file size for submissions is set for 50MB but my file is 51.2MB, will it be rejected, or can you get away with a few extra bits?

Hi Gling-

If I were you, I’d try to shave the filesize down just a bit- by reducing quality a little.

There are a lot of reasons why submissions will have troubles uploading to the site (wrong format, wrong codec, incomplete user profile, etc.) – so it’s really best to make sure you’re in compliance.

I don’t actually know if the filesize maximum is absolutely automatically enforced. But if there is a problem with the upload, and your file is under the 50MB max, at least we can rule that out as a potential snag.

Josh
