I just received a private message from a Zooppa member that was sent to my regular email account, but I see no way to do that from within the site. I replied to the email, but I have no way of knowing if that reply-to email will even get back to that member. How do you send/reply to a private message here?

Since this is really a social site, typical social features like messaging, should be part of the site UI…and easy to find :)

i couldn’t find any link either….so I would just say to send them a comment, with your email in it.

To send user a private message, go to that person’s profile page and click the ‘contact’ button. Then you can send a personal message.

In the future we will have a more robust messaging system.

I guess it can be confusing because you can’t send a private message to everyone. If a user puts their e-mail in when they register, they have a ‘Contact’ area on their profile. If they don’t, then that option isn’t there. So only the people that registered with their e-mail can be contacted through this system.

In order to contact someone, they have to allow contact in their profile :)
