Or at least, I thought I did.
I was told that they were having some trouble acquiring the prizes from the advertiser. After months of emailing around, I just don’t get responses to my emails. Not Josh barnes, not Kirk Mastin, not Will Merritt. I know that when I mess up in business, I eat the cost of fixing the problem because it saves everyone headaches. Some friends have told me to get my legal representative involved but I like zooppa and that would cost them way more than the prize is even worth.
Is anyone else having a similar issue?

I won a trip to NYC during the Pause to Support a Cause Campaign almost a year ago. Haven’t seen that yet. And the whole no response thing to the TGI Friday’s competition is getting pretty ridiculous too.

This behavior is really ridiculous and unprofessional!
Now I’ve lost all desire but is it possible to receive at least the money $1700?

All of these prizes, with the exception for Danone, were to be delivered by a company that Zooppa partnered with.
We have been having trouble getting this partner company to follow through on its commitments. We were finally able to get a meeting with these guys today.
For those who are still awaiting a prize from Pause or South Africa, you will be contacted today with an update on your prize’s progress.
Fremantle – sorry, but you’ll have to take it up with Zooppa Brasil for the Danone competition. You can write to Boni at zooppa.br@zooppa.com.

I am not alarming about the Samsung Contest because it has been a week plus a month and zooppa is saying a month for the payments. So a few days of delay is not a problem i think. But i `also` don`t like about the no reply to emails issue. I have sent some emails to a few email adress in the contact list and no replies still.
I wanted to learn if there is anything i need to do, or at least wanted to learn if they have gotten the documents.

Boy, reading this forum about all the negative goings on sure is bumming me out! I just shot my Whoopass segment Sunday and shot my Silk Milk one today.Not very conducive to get me in the editing mood now. This stuff is pure bull shi* on somebody’s part, and I have NO problem making a video about whoever starts jacking me around when I come to collect my prize soon. Word.

Initially i had a great response from Zooppa, when i came 2nd in the cold shower challenege. I sent off all the forms, or at least i thought i did. Then 50 days later i got told i needed to send a W8-Ben form and i have done so accordingly. I then emailed to see if i would have to wait a further 30-60 days after they received this form and no response. I wouldjust like to know when i can expect to receive my payment. Other than that i have had nothing but a great experience with Zooppa. Thanks

Who ever Zooppa partner with isn’t really our concern, you guys make us “sign” contacts where even if we lose the competitions you retain the videos (since we can’t delete anything and the contracts have been updated with that clause without any warning) it would be nice to see the contract upheld in the other side of the spectrum.
I took 3 days off + paid a cameraman to do my idea because i thought there was value in winning the grand prize…the problem here is there is no prize and i’ve officially waited 1 year. If you can’t get the associated partner to give the prize then we need to be compensated somehow

Hi ootb,
Razorfish was before my time but I can help you! When you won, you should have been notified and sent an email with 2 forms in it. To expedite the process, follow these steps:
First:
Go to winner materials section of the website, download and fill out the affidavit and questionnaire.
Second:
Email the completed forms to winners@zooppa.com. This is a special email account we set up to organize the process of awarding winners.
Third:
We’ll get you paid out.

Thanks for the quick reply…the problem is that the prize isn’t monetary… I was suppose to have a chance to pitch to one of their major client. Since they asked you guys to run the comp…you would think that they would have had the prize ready…but after i won they asked me to wait 1 month and then wait another and here we are a year later :O

I’m really sorry about that. We do our best to keep the lines of communication up with all winners. That’s why we made the winners@zooppa.com email address. I’ll get a response from accounting and sort this all out. I’ll send you an email too right now.
