After sending an email a couple of days ago, I received a response and my duplicate has successfully been removed. Here is what the email said:

If you ever need a duplicate removed, please write to me at this address, and specify your username. Then, change the name of the ad you want deleted to “please delete” or some such.

And that’s how it works.
