Hey Zooppers,
You may have noticed this contest show up on Friday. We wanted to get the word out asap.
YOUR MISSION
Create a video, up to 60 seconds long, about what you wish was “automatic”.
Your videos should demonstrate, in a humorous way, things in life that are not automatic, but that you wish were.
We’re showing things being automatic because Orbitz Price Assurance is truly automatic. With Price Assurance, as soon as you book your hotel or flight, Orbitz automatically begins to scour hundreds of thousands of transactions to ensure that the deal you booked is their lowest price. If another Orbitz customer pays less for your same flight or hotel, they’ll send you a check for the difference. – automatically! So you know you will never overpay on Orbitz.
Remember that it’s up to 60 seconds, it can be shorter!
Also there are $18,000 in prizes. We haven’t filled out the awards section just yet but rest assured that there are $18,000 in prizes.
Take it easy,
Manny

I’m onboard. I have ripped everything out of my studio and have refinished the walls and by this time next week will have an entire green room not just a wall. So I have some ideas bouncing around in my head on this one. I also printed out the notice and gave a copy to my friend I got signed up. He tried to enter the Windows Phone, but they are on DSL Lite and it would have taken forever. So he is going to enter the Orbitz and bring his files to my house and log into his account and upload them. He is really excited this will be his first contest. So here is hoping for a fun and exciting ride on the Orbitz.

Glad to hear it Tasana,
And the prizing structure has been finalized on the brief. It took a while because we needed confirmation that every prize rank gets free plane tickets!
Check out the awards,
Manny

Is it ok If you submit more then one video? Could you win multiple awards? LIke for example a client award + a voting award? Or if you submit 2 video’s could each of those video’s win a award or not?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can enter as many videos as you want, and each one is eligible for an award, so it would be possible to win multiple awards. Good luck, we hope to see more!

Can someone remove my entry “Check for the Difference” so I can upload a revised version (had to resize one part where the animation overlapped a crop zone).

Hi TOFR,
Please upload your new version first, then rename the version you don’t want to “Delete me”
Thanks!

I’m new to Zooppa so bear with me.
For the most part, are videos shot by participants or are they stock footage, downloaded.
While I’m at it, is the idea that people will get their idea across and then get to execute the spot that will actually go on air?
Thanks.

Hey, I uploaded my Orbitz video yesterday and it still says its processing. It hasn’t usually taken that long. In the past just a few minutes, not a whole day. I think my video might have come out to 52 mb instead of 50. Do you think thats the problem. Should I reupload it a little smaller. I didn’t think 2 mb would make a difference.

Hey there,
All music, footage and images used in contest entries should be original material or licensed (paid for) work. The client may use your video or part of your video on any marketing material so it may or may not be on television.
Thanks,
Manny

Newbie Questions
Hey all! I hope this is an appropriate place to post general questions.
What video format(s) are acceptable for uploading? I’m hopeing to wrap a :30 entry for the Orbitz competition and submit it tomorrow. I can’t find any technical faq and this is my first submission. Can I submit a DV .avi?
If there is a general forum for chat I haven’t found it let! Thanks, and luck to all!
