Now your mission:

Create a comedic video, up to 60 seconds long, about the trials and tribulations of the Back to School Blues for moms.

Videos should be light-hearted, fun and humorous. Back to school is a stressful time for moms, and these videos should make moms smile as they recognize themselves in your videos’ exaggerated scenarios. Kids are welcome to appear in these videos, but be sure the focus is on mom.

" Contest Period. Contest begins on or about July 18th, 2011 at 10:00am ET and ends on September 12th, 2011 at 11:59pm ET. "

But then it says the following: “The judging will take place and potential winners of “Sponsor Chosen Prizes” will be notified via email after September 1, 2011.”

Can you clarify what the actual deadline is and if it is the 12th, what are they referring to for the Sept 1 deadline?

It was a typo it has been fixed. It’s September 12th! Winners will be notified after September 12th.

On another note:

Horizon is looking for videos to use in a national Back-To-School engagement program on the Horizon Facebook page. If you submit your video early (before August 30), Horizon will consider using it in their Back-To-School Blues video match-up and promote your work to their national Facebook audience!

It’s a chance for more exposure for your video.
