Contest FAQs

• How can I join Zooppa?
  In order to take part in an advertising contest promoted by Zooppa, you need to register and complete a personal profile. As a registered user you become a Zoopper, an official member of the community.
• Who launches the contests?
  International brands. These companies also provide a brief description of the contest's characteristics (i.e. the subject, visual guidelines and so on).
• What do I have to do when a contest starts?
  When a contest officially starts, you will be able to upload different kinds of material, such as a script, a campaign storyboard, a print ad or even a complete video.
• Am I required to create a video using a concept already posted on Zooppa.com?
  No, you are not, but there is a prize for winning videos that are based on a concept or storyboard posted by another user.
• How long do I have to upload my contributions?
  You can upload contents until the contest officially closes.
• Who decides the winners?
  The community decides by voting for the best videos and print ADS.
• Which posted contributions win?
  The highest rated ones.
• Are there other prizes to win?
  Some contests may have special awards: - The "Big Zooppa prize", awarded by Big Zooppa himself. - A "Team Bonus" assigned to the highest rated video that uses a concept/storyboard created by another Zoopper. - "Just shoot it" prize, given to the best video created on-the-fly. Check the contest's prizes to see if the special prizes are included.
• How is the Team Bonus divided between the two contributors?
  Part of the bonus goes to the author of the video. The other part goes to the storyboard concept author, whose idea was used in the winning video.
• When are the winners awarded?
  The winners are awarded only after the Zooppa Staff has verified that the winners have followed all of the Terms & Conditions.
• What if I don't follow the Terms & Conditions?
  If the Zooppa.com staff verifies that you erred in following the Terms and Conditions, you will receive a warning and the non-compliant contributions will be automatically excluded from the contest. However, when such behaviors occur that are contrary in an extraordinary way to the ìnetiquetteî and the policy of the company, the Zooppa.com staff is authorized to immediately ban the user and remove the posted contributions without notice.
• How are the prizes paid?
  All the prizes are rewarded in Zoop$, a virtual currency owned by the ZooppaBank.
• Zoop dollars? What are they?
  One Zoop$ is equivalent to one Us$, but Zoop$ can be converted into real $ only after having accumulated a minimum of 1000 Zoop$.
• How can I check my account balance?
  You can check your account balance on your personal page whenever you want.
• What happens when I convert my Zoop$ into Us$?
  Upon converting your Zoop$ into US$, your account balance will reset to zero. Then you begin to accumulate Zoop$ again.
• Am I required to convert my Zoop$ once I reach the minimum of 1000 Zoop$?
  No, you can continue to accumulate Zoop$ for as long as you like. Please note that once you decide to convert your Zoop$, the entire amount is converted.
