Easy Pillsbury Crescent Meals

We at Pillsbury are thrilled to invite the Zooppa community to be a part of the Pillsbury advertising legacy by creating our next television ad for Crescent Rolls!

Busy moms use Pillsbury Crescent Rolls to create fun and delicious meals that the whole family loves. With Crescent Rolls, dinner is fast and easy to make. Even the kids can get involved.

We’re calling this campaign Easy Pillsbury Crescent Meals, because Crescent Rolls can be used as the foundation for many easy kid-pleasing meals. And the #1 Pillsbury Crescent Meal that families love is the Crescent Dog.

Crescent Dogs are hot dogs with cheese wrapped in warm, flaky Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, baked in the oven. When mom makes Crescent Dogs, which are much better than a regular hot dog, kids love them and mom is a hero!

Your Mission

We want you to create 15-second commercials for our Easy Pillsbury Crescent Meals campaign.

Your ads should inspire busy moms to make great meals like the Crescent Dog by using Crescent Rolls. With Crescent Rolls it’s easy, fast, and fun, to make a family meal with just 3 basic ingredients!

We’ve included food shots and (Pillsbury Doughboy!!!) animations in the materials files that you can use in your commercial. Feel free to use your own food photos & footage.

In the brief files, you can find examples of past Pillsbury ads for inspiration. You may not use footage from these ads in your commercials.

Requirements

Entrants must be 18 years or older, and must be U.S. residents.

Your ad should focus on the idea of easy Crescent Roll Meals rather than just the Crescent Dog itself. Emphasize how easy it is for mom and how happy kids will be.

The tone and personality of your ad should be warm, helpful and delightful.

Your 15 second ad should include:

Video Specifications

Pillsbury is looking for ‘ready for TV’ video. This is quite a bit different from online video in terms of quality:

Final Cut Pro Broadcast Safe Colors

Adobe After Effects Broadcast Safe Colors

*Winners are required to send in original video, audio and project files in case modifications need to be made before broadcast.

What You Should Not Do

Do not change or recreate the animation of the Pillsbury Doughboy, or change the sound of the giggle.

Do not make the ad specific to a certain season.

Do not include more than 5 actors.

Do not use footage from the example ads in the brief files.
