Why did this win? There are sooo many videos that are sooo much better than this. The videos from space is all over the internet, it was not his own work, yet he put it in his video and called it his own. The lighting was unprofessional, with the shadows everywhere. His hand clasps to transition between topics were just weird and awkward. His “animation” for the text was just written on a note card, and the lighting on the note card kept changing during the stop motion, also very unprofessional. During the stop motion with the red background, the red sheet was all wrinkled so you can see where the folds were, and it didnt cover the entire screen so it exposed the carpet that he was doing it on, and the camera accidentally changed angle in the middle of the motions. This video has virtually no production value, was unprofessional, and stole other people’s work. It’s crap, and he certainly didn’t deserve first place.
